Great start to the Year
10 10 2008Class 4 are enjoying a great start to the 2008-09 school year. The class enjoyed the book week that began the year (if you hadn’t worked it out, the book was Prince Caspian). They enjoyed exploring the characters and themes through drama and role play - including a war dance, which we created in the style of a Haka.
Class 4 have also done a lot of work in music, learning a song and using percussion instruments to explore rhythms to accompany the song. In addition they have also got stuck into history, learning all about the Aztecs, where, when and how they lived. Some of the class have begun to find out about the Aztec’s religious beliefs and how it included human sacrifice!
If you would like to find out more about what we have been learning and celebrate our work, we will be holding our class assembly next week.
